Red Poly Plating Tape
Red poly tape has double the adhesive that offers a chemically resistant barrier and reduces undercutting and leaks during processes like plating, anodizing, and e-coating. Red poly plating tape is commonly used to mask off printed circuit boards and surfaces during electroplating processes.
This tape is composed of silicone adhesive (for effective sealing) and a polyester backing that resists damage from sharp edges. The polyester backing and silicone adhesive combination makes this tape highly conformable.

- Temp Rating: 350°F / 177°C
- Recommended Processes: Plating, Anodizing, E-Coating
- Thickness: 4 mil (1 mil polyester film with 3 mil of red silicone adhesive)
- Length: 72 Yards
There are a variety of sizes available for purchase or we can slit custom sizing based on your needs.
Application: Apply tape to clean surface and then apply pressure via a roller or squeegee to ensure tape creates an effective masking seal
