Echo Concludes National Sales Meeting

Echo’s sales professionals from across the United States and Mexico recently joined the operations team in Indianapolis for three days of meetings and outings. Having the entire Echo team in one place for a few days out of the year allowed for ease of discussing customer success stories and a boost in camaraderie. Days were filled with meetings and training sessions, while evenings were reserved for team building and fun.

The 2017 National Sales Meeting topics focused heavily on problem solving. Echo aims to equip each team member with the knowledge and expertise to execute The Echo Way – making it imperative that each individual remains up-to-date on core technologies, engineering processes, materials, common masking and finishing issues, and Echo’s rubber and plastic offerings. Making each member of Echo’s team an industry expert means they are prepared to partner with customers in curating the most efficient, effective choices.

Off-Site Team Building

The team building began with a little friendly competition at Speedway Indoor Karting.  The race was close, with numerous heats and a few wrecks. Eventually Cameron, an outside sales professional based in Mexico, proved to be the speediest and walked away with the first place medal.

The second outing of Echo’s National Sales Meeting saw team members working on their collaboration skills at The Escape Room. Teams were tasked with working together to find clues, solve riddles, and crack codes, all with the goal of “escaping” the different themed rooms. Each of Echo’s five small groups did well putting forth strong joint efforts, though only two groups were savvy enough to declare victory.

Connecting for Understanding

The Echo Way means keeping a promise to be the top resource available for solving issues confronted by Echo’s customers when masking, protecting, or hanging. The annual National Sales Meeting gave the Echo team an outstanding opportunity to connect with one another to share understanding and experience, and the team is now well-prepared for a busy year of being industry change-makers!
