Echo Wraps Up National Sales Meeting

news-event

Sales representatives from across the country and Mexico gathered together at Echo Engineering’s headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, to celebrate the annual National Sales Meeting. This year’s meetings focused on innovation, direction for all departments, Echo’s Core Technologies, and team building.

As Echo Engineering continues to grow, the knowledge base of design, manufacturing, and value additions continues to exceed limitations. Sales reps had the chance to share their successful experiences with customers. Many of the success stories within all core technologies included innovations to overcome the customer’s challenges with different types of materials, manufacturing processes, tooling, and technical solutions that enhanced the customer’s experience.

Echo’s core technologies include direct and indirect components within sealing, fastening, NVH, and connecting. Because of the complexity of the custom products, most projects involve multiple departments. National Sales Meeting allowed the MRO and OEM teams to review current efforts within their own specialties, as well as review new opportunities to investigate from marketing and engineering.

Many departments, like Supply Chain, had the chance to share their overall direction, changes to improve communication, and plans to enhance The Echo Way for customers. The new Supply Chain Manager, Toni, presented on developments within the department and improvements the company is formulating to ensure accurate lead times and accurate product availability for customers.

Although headquarters experienced the polar vortex throughout the week, the Echo team did not allow the cold to halt the fellowship. Teams met downtown Indianapolis one night for team building fun at Punch Bowl Social, while another night was spent lounging around the hotel trying to stay warm.
